Nefrit El-Or
Teaching

I teach from the lense of lived experience and from the spiritual understanding that emerged through my own journey of healing. My work spans late-identified autism, eating-disorder recover and the intersection between the two, alongside self-love, meditation, spirituality, acceptance, inner joy, and our connection to Love.
Across all of it runs one foundational principle: self-love is the root of healing.
To me, self-love is a becoming- but becoming is not about changing who we are. it is a remembering. it is about coming home to ourselves.
I teach self-love and what it means in actuality- the roadmap to an inner joy that is independent of external events, even amid the vagaries and adversities of life. I teach the freedom and inner peace that come from meeting life with acceptance and equanimity, and finding a meaningful existence in how we experience life rather than trying to control it.
Our lives are meant to be joyful. I teach how to follow our true joy as a compass to a fulfilling life- finding meaning iand our oqn unique purpose, discovering our value within, and releasing shame, self-hate, and the pursuit of external validation, approval, and permission. It is learning to make room for all of our parts and meet them judgement-free. I think of it as becoming our own Love: tending to every part of ourselves with unfaltering compassion, as a nurse might tend to both sides of a battle with equal care.
I teach how to listen for and follow the inner guide nestled within our core- the wisdom beneath the noise of the thinking mind.
I teach Love medication and connection the source of Love within and beyond us: finding the power of the present moment, quieting the thinking mind, and entering direct experience. Through meditation, I discovered what I experience as a deeper consciousness- a state of presence, Love, and connection to something greater than myself. I call it Love Consciousness; I experience it as connection with the Divine.
I also teach from experiences that became profound catalysts for my own transformation: anorexia, recover, and discovering at forty-three that I am autistic. What I had once interpreted as evidence that I was broken became a doorway into growth, expansion, and self-love. These experiences inform my work around late-identified autism, masking, eating disorders and recovery, the intersection between autism and anorexia, shame and self-acceptance, and the extraordinary shift that can occur when we stop measuring ourselves against who the world told us we ought to be.
I do not teach how to become someone better. I teach the practice of coming home to yourself.
Workshops & Classes
Through one-on-one mentorship, group teaching, and guided meditation, I work with individuals, organizations, and communities seeking greater self-understanding; those exploring self-love, spirituality, meditation, and inner joy; neurodivergent people learning to understand and accept themselves; and those seeking lived-experience insight into eating disorders and recovery.
